Gshopper is an international e-shop focused mainly on electronics and products from Asian brands that are either not sold in Europe or are considerably more expensive at local retailers. The platform has been operating since 2007, is headquartered in Singapore and ships orders from several distribution centers, including China, Hong Kong and European warehouses. The most interesting products include OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and Realme smartphones, tablets, gaming consoles, watches, robot vacuums and other consumer electronics.
Current Gshopper coupons can cut prices significantly
You will find Gshopper among the verified partners of Deal Planet. Most of the best offers ship from Hong Kong or China, with delivery to your country usually taking roughly 10 to 20 business days. For some products a European warehouse is also available, with delivery within a few days. Do not forget to use the coupon from our price box and, before paying, check the listed product version, warehouse and shipping method.
How do discount codes and Gshopper Points work?
The coupon is entered in the cart into the "Gift Card or Discount Code" field. Individual codes may apply only to a specific product, brand or minimum order value, and can normally be used just once. Gshopper also runs its own coupon center, with the biggest discounts typically available on smartphones, electric scooters, robot vacuums and other electronics.
On marked products you can also earn loyalty points. Under the current program, one point is worth 1 USD; points can be used toward the price of another product, but not toward shipping or taxes. They activate only after you confirm receipt of the order and remain valid for 12 months. It is a separate promotion for selected products, so do not expect points automatically with every purchase.
Delivery from Hong Kong and from the EU warehouse
The official shipping policy lists roughly 10 to 20 business days for Priority Line from China or Hong Kong, 15 to 45 days for standard shipping and 7 to 20 days for express shipping. Products from the European warehouse have an estimated delivery of 2 to 7 business days. Most offers ship free, but the final amount depends on the product, weight and chosen warehouse.
Real customer experiences mostly report smartphones arriving in Europe in about two to three weeks. There are, however, also cases where an order sat in processing for several days or shipping was delayed. According to the help center, the tracking number may only update 3 to 7 days after dispatch, so the first few days without movement do not necessarily mean a problem.
VAT is included; watch the order terms for customs
Gshopper states that for products delivered to customers in the European Union, VAT is included in the sale price and the platform remits it under EU rules. If a carrier were to collect VAT a second time, the customer should keep the receipt and ask support for a refund. However, according to its own terms, the store does not reimburse the carrier's administrative fee.
From 1 July 2026, a temporary customs fee of €3 per item category applies to low-value shipments up to €150 from countries outside the EU. Gshopper's official terms also note that any customs costs may be borne by customers. So when ordering from Hong Kong, always check the final figures in the cart and the information shown for the specific shipping option. For a product in a genuine EU warehouse, the import fee does not apply.
Pay via PayPal, card or bank transfer
Gshopper supports Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express cards, PayPal, SEPA Direct Debit and several regional payment methods. Availability can vary by country and specific order. For a more expensive smartphone, we recommend PayPal or a credit card, since in addition to the internal claims process you also gain an extra route for resolving a payment dispute.
An interesting option is bank transfer, for which Gshopper currently offers an automatic extra 4.5% discount plus Store Credit of 0.5 to 1%. This promotion can change, and a transfer does not offer the same level of protection as PayPal or a credit card, so the bigger saving comes with a smaller safety net in a potential dispute.
Claims, returns and warranty in 2026
A product that is faulty on arrival must be reported within 7 days. Gshopper will ask for photos of the packaging and label and a video capturing the fault. An unused product can be returned within 14 days, but it must remain in its original condition and packaging. If the seller is not at fault, the customer pays both the original and the return shipping. Never send a product back without prior approval and an assigned RMA.
The warranty varies by category. Under the current policy, Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones get 24 months, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo and Realme phones 12 months, tablets and computers 12 months, and ordinary consumer electronics 6 months. For an acknowledged manufacturing defect, Gshopper is supposed to cover both the repair and the shipping. A local repair may sometimes be arranged, but for a more serious fault the device may need to be sent to Hong Kong.
Watch out for Chinese smartphone versions with a global system
Very low smartphone prices are often achieved by selling the Chinese hardware version onto which the seller has installed a global OxygenOS or other international firmware. Before ordering, verify the supported LTE and 5G bands, eSIM, Android Auto, Google Wallet, Widevine L1, OTA updates and the original charger type. A "Global ROM" label does not automatically mean the same hardware as the official global version.
Users on Reddit describe positive experiences, for example with the OnePlus 15, where OTA updates and Widevine L1 both worked. Older converted models, however, had cases of mobile data problems after an update. These are individual experiences, but they show well why you should check the exact model and current firmware state, not just the product name.
Customer experiences are mostly good, but claims can drag on
At the time of our research, Gshopper had more than 1,500 reviews on Trustpilot, of which 67% were five-star and 23% one-star ratings. Satisfied customers praise the low prices, quality packaging, free gifts and delivery within roughly 15 days. Criticism most often concerns slower dispatch, communication during a complicated claim and the need to send a faulty product back to Asia.
Gshopper makes the most sense for smartphones and electronics with a significant price gap versus local stores. When saving several hundred euros, the longer delivery and more distant service center are acceptable trade-offs. With a small price difference, a local retailer is more convenient. Although EU rules are meant to apply even to a non-EU seller targeting European customers, enforcing them in practice can be more complicated.
