Banggood is an international Chinese e-shop operating since 2006. Unlike AliExpress or DHgate, it is not primarily an open marketplace with thousands of independent sellers. Banggood acts as a direct retailer that selects products from suppliers and manages orders, logistics and after-sales service itself. The range focuses mainly on electronics, tools, smart home products, RC models, projectors, 3D printers, electric scooters, e-bikes and portable power stations. The company was founded in the Chinese city of Guangzhou and, according to its own figures, delivers to customers in more than 200 countries.
Find the best Banggood coupons on Deal Planet
You will find Banggood among the verified partners of Deal Planet. We regularly track its European warehouses, sales and product coupons, which often cut the price of scooters, e-bikes, tools and electronics by tens to hundreds of euros. On supported orders placed through our links you can also use the extended VIP support under the conditions listed in the price box. Before paying, always check the warehouse, the product variant, the plug type, the delivery estimate and the warranty conditions.
Banggood is not another AliExpress
The biggest difference from AliExpress is the sales model. On Banggood you do not have to vet an unknown third-party merchant for every product, because you handle the order and any claim directly with the platform. Banggood officially describes itself as an independent direct-to-consumer retailer and lists partnerships with a large number of suppliers and brands, including Xiaomi, KuKirin, ANGWATT, RadioMaster and MJX RC.
The range is smaller than on AliExpress but concentrates more on tech products and the hobby segment. Banggood has long been known especially among fans of RC models, drones, FPV gear, electronic components, tools and Chinese brands. In recent years it has significantly expanded its offer of electric bikes, scooters, laser engravers, 3D printers, mini computers and household products.
The European warehouses are its biggest trump card
For customers in the EU, the most interesting listings are those marked EU Direct or products shipped from the Czech, Polish, Spanish, French, Dutch or Italian warehouse. Banggood's official shipping system currently lists CZ, PL, ES, FR, NL and IT warehouses, alongside further distribution centers outside Europe. On its company profile, the platform mentions 37 global warehouses in total.
Delivery from the Czech or Polish warehouse can take roughly 3 to 7 business days within the EU. The actual date depends on the courier, product availability and dispatch time. User reviews mention deliveries from the CZ warehouse in about five days and from the Polish warehouse in four. This is not a guaranteed time, however, so the date shown with your specific order is what counts.
Delivery from China takes longer
Products not stocked in Europe ship mainly from Chinese or Hong Kong warehouses marked with the GW or CN codes. The total time consists of order processing plus the transport itself. With Banggood Priority Shipping, many products show roughly 13 to 20 business days, while the cheaper standard shipping can take longer.
Banggood explicitly warns that the estimated times are not a guarantee and can be affected by holidays, weather, customs clearance or other circumstances beyond the store's control. If you need a product quickly, choose only a genuine EU warehouse and also watch the planned dispatch date. A product may be listed as in stock, yet preparing it for dispatch can take several more days.
VAT is included on orders to the EU
Banggood states on its product pages that for goods delivered to the European Union, VAT and any import fees are included in the sale price. On some products from Hong Kong you will see the labels "EU VAT Included" or "Inclusive of VAT + Customs" directly. According to the store's current information, the customer should therefore not pay additional VAT on delivery, but always check the final price and the labeling of the specific offer.
From 1 July 2026, a temporary customs fee of €3 applies to low-value shipments up to €150 arriving from countries outside the EU. The measure covers shipments where the seller is registered in the IOSS system. Banggood's current product pages claim the relevant fee is included in the price, but for every product from China we recommend checking the final order summary. For goods genuinely dispatched from an EU warehouse, the import fee does not apply.
How do coupons, Allowance and Banggood Points work?
Banggood uses several kinds of discounts. Besides the classic coupon code, your account may hold an Allowance, a new-user discount, an app coupon or a special price during Flash Deals. Not all discounts can be combined, and the lowest price often only appears after logging in or adding the product to the cart. Trustpilot users also report cases where the price changed after adding a product to the cart, so always compare the final amount before paying.
The Banggood loyalty program lets you earn points for purchases, daily sign-ins and completing tasks. The current ratio is 100 BG Points = 1 USD, and points can reduce the order price by at most 15%. They cannot be used on Flash Deals, products marked as Unbeatable Price, promo products or orders where a coupon is applied. Regular points expire on the last day of the sixth month after they were earned.
Pay via PayPal, card or Google Pay
Banggood lists more than 40 payment methods. The most important include PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, payment cards and Google Pay, with the selection varying by country and order currency. In some regions, Klarna or a local payment service may also appear.
For a more expensive product, we recommend PayPal or a credit card. On top of Banggood's internal claims system, you gain an extra route for resolving a payment dispute. Never send money to the retailer through any alternative channel outside the official order, and always verify the delivery address before confirming payment.
Report a damaged or faulty product within 7 days
Banggood provides DOA protection for a product that arrives damaged or does not work. The problem must be reported within 7 days of receipt. The same window applies to missing or incorrect package contents. Depending on the scope of the problem, the store may offer a partial refund, a spare part, a new product or a return.
For pricier electronics, a scooter or a bike, we recommend filming the entire unboxing. The video must show the intact parcel, the shipping label, the package contents and the product's first power-on. Do not throw away the original box until you have tested the device thoroughly. Support routinely asks for photos and video, without which the claims process can drag on unnecessarily.
No-questions-asked returns are not the same for every product
Banggood currently advertises 30-day returns without giving a reason, but only for products that explicitly list this option on their page. The product must be unused, complete and in its original packaging. Different rules may apply to some categories or brands, so do not rely on the general promotional banner alone.
If the product is not at fault, the customer may bear the return shipping costs. For a larger e-bike, scooter or electrical appliance, international postage can be very expensive. Never send a product back on your own initiative. First open a service case, request approval and the exact return address.
The warranty also depends on the category and brand
Banggood's general service policy lists a one-year warranty on mobile phones, tablets, computers, mainboards and the motors of electric bikes and scooters. Specific brands, however, may have their own warranty table. A battery might get 12 months, a controller six months, a charger three months, and consumable parts may not be covered at all.
Banggood targets European customers, but the merchant is based outside the EU. European consumer rules can generally apply to a seller targeting the EU, but enforcing them in practice is harder than with a local e-shop. Before a more expensive purchase, always study the commercial warranty of the specific product and do not automatically expect the same service as from a local retailer.
Customer support runs around the clock, but experiences are mixed
Banggood states its customer support is available 24 hours a day via live chat and email. Claims are handled through a service ticket where you communicate with a support agent. Replies commonly arrive with some delay, and for a technical issue support may also wait for a statement from the supplier or manufacturer.
The negative experiences mostly involve repeated requests for videos, slower decision-making and offers of a spare part instead of an immediate refund. Recent reviews also mention automatically closed tickets or a long-drawn-out resolution of a faulty scooter. That does not mean every customer will face the same problem, but with an expensive product you should expect that service may not be as simple as at a local store.
Banggood customer experiences in 2026
At the time of our research, the main Banggood profile on Trustpilot had a rating of 4.3 out of 5 across more than 62,000 reviews. Five-star ratings made up 69% and one-star ratings 18%. Customers most often praised the prices, the quality of selected products and fast delivery, especially from the local warehouses.
Criticism is aimed mainly at faulty products, more complicated returns, differences between the listed price and the cart price, and slower communication during claims. You will find similarly mixed experiences on Reddit. Some long-time customers report trouble-free purchases and refunds after submitting a video, while others describe drawn-out negotiations or weaker support in complicated cases. These are individual experiences, but they show well that the biggest risk only emerges once something goes wrong with the product.
How to shop on Banggood as safely as possible?
For a more expensive purchase, pick a product from the Czech, Polish or another EU warehouse, and look at the number of reviews and real customer photos. Thoroughly check the exact variant, battery capacity, plug type, package contents and the warranty table. The "EU Direct" label by itself does not replace checking the warehouse and the final date in the cart.
Pay via PayPal or credit card, film the unboxing, test the product immediately and keep the original packaging. We consider Banggood a legitimate, long-established e-shop that can offer excellent prices and very fast delivery from its EU warehouses. Its biggest weakness remains returns and more complicated technical claims, especially for large and expensive products.
